My love for photography started when I was just 8 years old when my parents gave me a little camera so I could scrapbook with my mom. From that day on, I was hooked. By 12, I’d graduated to my parents’ point-and-shoot camera, and my siblings and cousins were my very patient (and sometimes not-so-patient) models. I even hung up sheets in the kitchen to create "professional" backdrops for our photoshoots! At 17, my great-grandpa gave me my first "real" camera, and I have been doing portrait photography ever since.
Over the years, I’ve honed my skills in capturing life’s most precious moments, but nothing compares to the beauty and raw emotion of birth. Witnessing the strength of mom, the first breath, the first cry, and the overwhelming love that fills the room is an experience I’m honored to document for families. My approach to birth photography is quiet and unobtrusive, ensuring that every image reflects the authenticity and intimacy of your story.
My passion for birth photography is rooted deeper than just the art. Since I was 14, I’ve dreamed of becoming a midwife (and still plan to once my girls are a little older). I’ve always been in awe of the incredible strength of women, the beauty of pregnancy, and the sacredness of birth. I feel so blessed to be able to combine my love for photography with my passion for supporting families during these transformative moments. My hope is that I will be able to bless you by helping you preserve one of the most profound chapters of your life
When I’m not behind the camera, I’m navigating life as a single mom to two amazing girls. Together, we live in a cozy tiny home tucked away in the woods and spend our days homeschooling, enjoying the outdoors, and being creative. I am a God-loving, extroverted introvert who loves reading, crocheting, or doing anything crafty, puzzles, camping, playing board games or cards, learning about homesteading, and doing anything with my kids.
Above all, I’m a firm believer in connection—whether it’s through the bonds we share with our loved ones or the stories we capture and carry with us. I can’t wait to meet you, hear your story, and capture this life-changing moment!
